Well once again I find myself behind on my blogging. Due to this I have had to read more and I haven't comprehended as muchas I would like of the book. In the third part of On Writing Mr.King referenced many books and quotes that I had never heard of before. Although I didn't recognize 99% his references I did have one catch my eye. This reference was to the movie "The Green Mile", this movie is one of the best movies I think. I first watched thismovie when I was around the age of 8. The connection King makes with John coffey being compared to J.C. is very deep. I have watched The Green Mile many times and the connection just has never clicked until now. I also liked the statement when King said "Shit, write upside down if you want to, or do it in Crayola pictographs." Upon first reading this I kinda grinned because I was planning on drawing pictures for all my writing from now on but then I kept reading. The following sentence states that you must come to a point where you judge your writing and I realized that if I was to judge pictures it would be very difficult. While readin I didn't have anything to underline with and I have forgotten the other main points of interest in my reading. I am mad that I didn't get a pen because there was many things I have failed to remember that would be great for my essay. I guess I'll just have to go back through and reread the last part.
